
I consider myself an accidental entrepreneur: my endeavor was not to own my own company but to provide the best possible education to my students. The only avenue I found to accomplish this goal, however, was to venture out on my own and with a like-minded business partner who shares my passion for education.
I am a nationally recognized expert on entrance exams and college admissions, a graduate with honors from the University of Chicago, and the managing partner at Summit Prep, an education company specializing in SAT and ACT tutoring. I serve on the Board of Directors for the National Test Prep Association and as its Director of Outreach. When I’m not tutoring, reading the latest research on the SAT and ACT, or taking the exams myself, I enjoy long walks with my dog, watching YouTube videos on stoicism, and going on adventures with my wife and son.
